Yeah but you should see the other guy!!!!

This was actually the result of not being able to avoid the accidents in front of me. And the damage looks worse than it really is. The bumpers are bent up and the body parts are superficial.

The street stock race started out clean and fast. Steeve roach in the 72 car got out of control in the first turn, but there was no yellow called and the race kept going. I thought we were going to get through the night without a yellow. But getting up around lap 14 we finally started having yellows and with the track in such great shape we were all in a big group. That didn't help. I was able to spin out and avoid the first one, but go into the second one. Joseph Altig  (#04) caused a yellow and went to the back, Then the next yellow everyone in the field was involved except Joe, which put Joe back up in the front. And with that twist of fate and the last couple of laps to go, Joe took the checkered. Congratulations Joe.

And coming in 2nd after a long absence in the Street Stocks was Curtis Reiter in that old familiar to the front of the pack, #39. Followed by Robert Hughs #05, and Pat Bradley making a good showing for 4th after missing last season in the #2 car. I brought the #51 K-rail kar in 5th, all the time thinking I was 6th.

I personally think the track was perfect. It was a little wet at the start but by the time we finished it was like cruising on easy street. Sure there were pileups, but we were all so close together there was no way to stop when the guys in front started piling up. Was it hot? It was hotter than a pepper sprout. My car ran most of the main at 240 to 250 degrees!!!!. I was glad for the yellows even though they only brought it down to about 230 at best. In fact the last few laps I tried to run my car at about 3/4 throttle, didn't brake into the corners just lifted a bit and just slowly powered around behind the pack hoping to keep the car from blowin' up.

Rest of the lineup posted on the results page.
